RAILROADS IN THE AREA:

Standard CSX Railroad:

- Pinellas County to Tampa:

This is the only remaining line that services the Pinellas county area. Stretching from Just east of I-275 on Busch Blvd, due west to Oldsmar, south to Safety Harbor area, west more to Clearwater and then south and southeast through Largo, Pinellas Park, and to an industrial area west of St. Petersburg (at the Tropicana Field)then southwest again to near Gulfport. This track is not heavily traveled and is difficult to actually time or locate a train. I have not tried to reallly chase a train here due to the crowded area, numerous stoplights and bad traffic; however, If you do spot one you may get lucky and get to follow it a good ways before losing it, or just bypass following it and try to meed it at it's destination.

FREQUENCIES USED IN AREA:

     Frequency Description:
- 452.9375 Mhz - Redman Front
- 457.9375 Mhz - Redman End
- Mhz - Voice Communications

It is always possible other frequencies could be used, I recommend having all frequencies from my Railroad Frequencies page for best possible chances of catching that train.
